These are the aircraft photos I took as a teenager in Singapore in the early 1960’s, plus some taken at Butterworth, the Naval Base and the 1962 Chiang Mai detachment. Although obviously many are just ‘record pictures’ of aircraft, the best pictures are those that ‘tell a story’ and I hope many of these do. The photos from Changi and Seletar show a unique view of working RAF airfields plus those from Paya Lebar, a civil aviation era now passed.
Sorry that there’s no ‘search facility’ for individual aircraft types,…however my images are now available from the FotoLibra library at http://www.fotolibra.com. Just register to become a new user, so you can browse the images (It’s alright, you won’t get spam). Search is then available for all my ‘keywords’, such as ‘RAF Changi’, ‘Hastings’ or say ’41 Squadron’.
THIS HOME PAGE IS A SLIDESHOW OF JUST SOME OF MY PICTURES, BUT TAKES A WHILE TO FIRST LOAD THE IMAGES….SO HANG ON THEY ARE COMING!
IF YOU WANT TO SEE ALL MY IMAGES, WITH COMPREHENSIVE DETAILS OF EACH, PLEASE BROWSE THE ‘PHOTO GALLERIES’…..WHICH CONTAIN OVER 900 PHOTOS, CATALOGUED BY YEAR.
ALL MY PHOTOS ARE STRICTLY COPYRIGHT-PLEASE DON’T STEAL THEM
